Bosphorus Waterfront
Right on the water, facing the FSM Bridge and the unmatched panorama of the Bosphorus.
On the shores of Baltalimanı since 1975. We brew our first tea at six in the morning and light our last hookah at two past midnight — alcohol-free, family-focused, waterside.
We began on the quiet shore of Baltalimanı, when the Bosphorus had neither today's crowds nor traffic. Only the cry of seagulls, the horn of passing ferries, and the warm scent of fresh bread rising from our tables.
Guests who once came as children with their fathers now bring their own grandchildren.
From brewing the first tea at six in the morning to lighting the last hookah past midnight — the Bosphorus has been our companion through it all. We charge no service fees, no cover. Because at Oba, your bill should be as easy as your morning.
Right on the water, facing the FSM Bridge and the unmatched panorama of the Bosphorus.
Half a century of tradition, three generations of guests welcomed at the same table.
A peaceful, halal environment for your children and your elders alike.
Spacious, secure, complimentary parking — no meter to watch.
Let the little ones play while you take in the Bosphorus.
No service charge. No cover. The price you see is the price you pay.
One of Istanbul's longest-running daily Bosphorus venues — early risers and night owls alike find their place at Oba.
A beautiful Bosphorus restaurant. The Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the sea blend together here.

06:00 sharp. We're one of the earliest Turkish breakfast venues on the Bosphorus — perfect for early travelers, those arriving on overnight flights, or anyone who wants the waterside table before the rush.
Weekday visits usually don't require one. For weekend breakfast hours, we recommend reserving in advance.
Early mornings (06:00–09:00) are calm and waterside tables are easy to find. 09:00–11:00 is more lively and social.
Smart casual is recommended. Beach attire and athletic shorts are not preferred.
